Membership with Tennis BC is a great way to get involved in the Tennis community within BC. Tennis BC is a not-for-profit society that is funded by membership, sponsorship, government grants, and programs.

Individual Membership Options

Individual membership options include:

Junior Membership allows players under the age of 18 on January 1 to play in sanctioned and unsanctioned events. This membership allows play in other provinces as well.

Adult Membership allows players aged 18 or over on January 1 to play in sanctioned and unsanctioned events. This membership allows play in other provinces as well.

Recreational Membership is free of charge. It allows players to participate in any number of unsanctioned events such as club or community tournaments that use Tennis BC’s tournament software to run their events. Players will not be able to enter sanctioned tournaments using a recreational membership. Note to players from Full Member (Gold) clubs: If you are a member of a “Full Member Club,” your club has paid for your membership already. Please join as an Adult or Junior member (according to your age) then please contact Tennis BC and we will waive the membership fee.

Membership with Tennis BC is a great way to get involved in the tennis community within BC. By being a member, you have access to play in sanctioned tournaments where ranking points are awarded and participate in member-club league play, coaching, and instructor workshops throughout the province, including officiating clinics and other fun activities! With a full Tennis BC membership, you are also eligible to compete in sanctioned tournaments across the country! Tennis BC Full Membership Fee – Valid for 12 months from THE date of purchase.

Tournament players will need to make sure their Tennis BC full membership is current and active.

Tennis BC League Player License

This membership option gives you a license to play in the league. It is geared towards players who only play in the provincial league and do not play in sanctioned tournaments. The primary benefit of this membership option is substantial cost savings.

All Members who have already created their Tennis BC account can log in and make changes when necessary. Ensure that your membership is up-to-date and does not expire during the league or holiday season.

Follow these steps to update or correct any information on your Tennis BC account.

  1. Click to access the Tennis Canada System.
  2. Click on ‘Login‘ (located at the top right-hand corner) to log in with your username and password. Your eight-digit member ID is shown underneath your name.

Instructions for setting up your Tennis BC account

Please note: If you are a member of a Gold Club, please choose the ‘Cash’ option at step six and accept. Please send an email to sly@tennisbc.org with your full name, and eight-digit member ID to have your account activated and membership fee waived.

For those players who have NOT created an online account, please follow these steps:

There are Six Steps to Registration:

Select ‘TENNIS BC’ (as your provincial organization – click on the arrow)

Read and accept the user agreement

Fill in your contact information

Select your specific Membership Type

Select your specific BC Region

Select your specific Club (even if you have no club, please select something or you may receive an error – the club can always be adjusted later)

Create your login ID, password, add your email address etc.

Members with a Gold Club:

Select ‘Cash’ (and you will be directed to the next page)

Select ‘Accept’ (and your information will be saved.)

Individuals paying for their own Tennis BC Membership:

Select the PayPal option to pay your Tennis BC Membership. You do not need to have a PayPal account; you can still pay by credit card through PayPal.

Once you have completed your payment, an email with an activation link will be sent to you from the Tennis Canada Tournament Software account. Please click this link to activate your account.

Log into your account to receive your Tennis BC Member ID.

FAQs about logging into your Tennis BC account:

Q. Where can I find my Tennis BC member ID number?

A. If you do not know your eight-digit member ID, watch this video. Once on the Tennis Canada Tournament Software page, sign in to your account and there you will be able to view your eight-digit member ID number.

Q. What if I have forgotten my login name or password?

A. Once you are on the Tennis Canada Tournament Software page, click on “Log in” (top right), and then click Lost Login or Lost Password and a new one will be sent to your email address that was indicated when your profile was originally created.

Q. What if I have changed emails since creating my Tennis BC account?

A. If you have since changed emails, please log in to your account and click on the Settings tab, where you will be able to update your email address.

Q. What if I have forgotten both my login name and password?

A. If you have forgotten both your login name and password, you must request Lost Login name first as this is required before you are able to reset the password.

Q. I don’t have a PayPal account set up, how do I pay with credit or debit?

A. You don’t need to have a PayPal account in order to pay for your Tennis BC membership. Simply click “Pay with debit or credit card” below the PayPal login information. Click here for step-by-step instructions.
